In the high altitudes of the Sierra Nevada—the world's highest, snow-capped coastal mountain range—this unique Arabica grows under shade trees. It is cultivated by the indigenous Arhuaco people, for whom coffee is more than a product: It is part of their spiritual connection to nature.
The Arhuacos live in complete harmony with the environment and use traditional, organic farming methods—completely free from industrial influences. Spiritual leaders, the Mamos , guide this process with respect and wisdom.
By partnering with selected traders, the Arhuacos not only protect their sacred sites but also enable social projects such as school meals and community development .
